Circumstances of Becky's
Disappearance
Becky (Kraemer) Marzo had just started a
new job. It was one of several things she was doing to start
her life over again after her recent divorce. Becky seemed
to be on the right track, living with her parents, going back
to school, and working full time at a job she really enjoyed.
She was 21 when she met Carl,
a charming man 11 years her senior who frequented her place
of employment. About 6 months after they met, Becky moved
in with Carl. Their 2 year relationship would start off
as pleasant and full of promise, but soon, Becky began
showing signs of domestic abuse. Co-workers
later told family members that Becky often came to work
bruised and depressed, and on May 2, 2003, Becky pressed
Battery charges against Carl (REF: Wisconsin
Circuit Court Access Case
2003CM001739).
The case was dismissed without prejudice on December 10,
2003, when Becky failed to show up for court.
Becky was last seen
entering her residence at 3160-3162 N. 5th street, Milwaukee,
WI, in the late evening hours of December 13, 2003 or
early morning hours of December 14, 2003. The night of
her disappearance, she had been at Conversations Bar located
at 3515 W. Villard Ave in Milwaukee, WI, with her girlfriends.
Her girlfriend dropped her off at home, where Becky lived
with her boyfriend.
He is the last person known to have seen her.
There is absolutely no trace of Becky Marzo after
December 13, 2003. She never picked up her last check from
work. She never returned another phone call or email from
her many family members and friends. There has been no
activity on her social security number. Her drivers license
expired and was never renewed. None of her bills have been
paid. She has simply vanished without a trace.
Becky's family misses her very much and has
worked endlessly since then to find out what happened to
her. They are desperate to speak with anyone who can give
them any information about her whereabouts and what happened
to her. We are turning to the public for assistance in
solving this case. Somewhere there is someone who holds
the key to helping us locate Becky. Is it you?
